I've been thinking on our pastor's sermon and it made me think again of how really temporary and small our LIFETIME is in relation to ETERNITY and that ETERNAL LIFETIME with God. In that reference, success in this world means absolutely NOTHING!
What is our TEMPORARY LIFETIME about? The pastor pointed out a really good illustration of 2 Biblical characters. David, whose epitaph was "a man after God's heart" and Solomon, whose epitaph was "his heart was not wholly devoted to the Lord." David lived his short life for the ETERNAL while Solomon lived his short life for this short life. Which life are you living for?
