Week 38

DSC03164_Edited Vintage Warm

Surprised...Despite all the contractions I've had over the last 2 months, I am surprised that Baby #5 still remains comfy in her womb. She passed her non-stress test yesterday and her heartbeat ranged between 130-150bpm. I have continued to see a chiropractor bi-weekly to keep the pelvis and everything aligned so there is no obstruction in that area. Some home methods I've tried to get baby head down has been applying Peppermint essential oil, flashing a light in the pelvic area, laying with my legs above head level, and pelvic tilts. Continuing to trust that God's methods and timing is perfect...

On Monday I see the doctor who conducts the external cephalic version (manually turning baby) the best at my practice to determine my risks of doing the procedure. If I do not go into labor by next Thursday and the doctor determines that I am able to do the version, the procedure will be scheduled for next Thursday. Praying that baby will turn head down and I will go into labor before then...Also, my parents leave before I reach Week 40. Hoping they get to meet Baby #5 before going home.

Just a note to self:
I weighed 173 pounds.
