Baby Name Conflict

We are not agreeing on a name for Baby Girl. I had one in mind when we found out the gender, but Hubby doesn't like it...The name I have in mind flows with the theme of our girls' names...I would like to follow the same idea...So, the girls' name share the gospel...Gracelyn (saved by God's grace), Christyann (when you are saved you become a follower of Christ, or a christian), Evangeline (the great commission is to go out into the world and share the gospel or to evangelize), and Hope (the good news is that we have hope of an eternity with God through Jesus Christ). Let's hear your name suggestions...

Here are some suggestions already made:
  • Faith
  • Eternity Joy
  • Heaven or Neveah (heaven backwards)

SUGGESTION 1:
Put her in a yellow dress and call her Eleanor... Hubby will like it. ;) Nate<><

SUGGESTION 2:
Miss Mischieva!

SUGGESTION 3:
In Ethiopia when believers have their "last" (at least as far as they are concerned) child and it is a girl often they will name her "Amen" :). You can always use Mira (as in miracle) if you like it but then the Gills have a Mira close in age. Daniel has other Daniels all around him (school, soccer, church) but it doesn't phase him at all...makes him feel popular LOL.

SUGGESTION 4:
  • Abigail (Hebrew) - 1 Sam. 25:3 - the father's joy.
  •  Bethany (Hebrew) - Matt. 21:17 - the house of song; the house of affliction.
  •  Charity (Latin) - 1 Cor. 13:1-13 - dear.
  •  Eden (Hebrew) - Gen. 2:8 - pleasure; delight.
  • Eva (Hebrew) - Gen. 3:20 - living; enlivening.
  •  Hannah (Hebrew) - 1 Sam. 1:2 - gracious; merciful; he that gives.
  •  Joanna (Hebrew) - Luke 8:3 - grace or gift of the Lord.
  •  Mercy (English) - Gen. 43:14 - compassion, forebearance.
  •  Phoebe (Greek) - Rom. 16:1 - shining; pure.
  •  Sarah (Hebrew) - Gen. 17:15 - lady; princess; princess of the multitude.
  • Sarai (Hebrew) - Gen. 17:15 - my lady; my princess.
SUGGESTION 5:
  • Hosanna
  • Zion
  • Amina
  • Verity
  • Agape
  • Anastasia
SUGGESTION 6:
I love the girls names already and think you should keep the tradition lol my vote is Faith Joy because after all when you have faith you always have Joy!! Just my suggestion :)

Btw Joey just said he like Angel lol

SUGGESTION 7:
Or Angelica

SUGGESTION 8:
Sasha is a nice name! ;). Heee heee!! I like the name Hannah, Faith, or Joy.

SUGGESTION 9:
Amara is Greek for eternity. That sort of fits with your other names.

SUGGESTION 10:
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

The 1st grade teacher at boys school is named Charity & her older sisters are Faith & Hope. All three are pretty choices and you have one. With saying their names, think about when you are calling them in for dinner or whatever & see how it sounds that way too.

SUGGESTION 11:
Amara, Neveah, or along the lines of "amen" is Selah.

SUGGESTION 12:
One of our daughters is named 'Amena'. It means 'if The Lord wills'. It is a greeting that South African believers use. (Pronounced 'uh meenah').

SUGGESTION 13:
I think Anastasia, that is Greek for resurrection, would be the best fit for your theme. That is also my most favorite girl's name :)  ( It was my first choice for Gracie, but then the other idea prevailed)

SUGGESTION 14:
Gen Jr. :)

Seriously though, Tryphosa or Tryphena (Romans 16); Priscilla (Rom 16:3, Acts 18).

SUGGESTION 15:
Amara, Amina, or Amena! I can't give you my other favourites bc we may use them, lol!

SUGGESTION 16:
How about Anastasia (resurrection), Charis (grace), Alethia (truth)? These are my girls' names, but we're so far apart it wouldn't affect them, and I don't mind sharing :)

SUGGESTION 17:
Not that I'm partial or anything, but Stacie (spelled in various ways) also means "resurrection" since it's a shortened form of Anastasia. :)

SUGGESTION 18:
Hallelujah (living a life of praise!) and could call her Hallie.

SUGGESTION 19:
Anastasia Joy - Resurrection Joy. Annie!

SUGGESTION 20:
I love "Joy" as well. I think it is a great name after "Hope". :)

These are ALL wonderful suggestions!...What we have done in the past is made a list of names and then we usually pray about it and then there is usually 1 that we both say, "Yes, that will be her name!" Hubby has a name that he likes and I have another. So, I thought it would be neat to see a list of other names we haven't considered to pray over. We know that God already knows her name and she will be called what the Lord has purposed it to be...
