Prelabor Contractions...Back at the Hospital

Came back to the hospital this morning at 4am for preterm contractions again. Once again, praise God, my cervix was not dilated! It took awhile and a few more dosages of Procardia, a medication used to relax the uterus, to kind of get the contractions to calm down. They are still coming but not as intensely as they were (knock on wood). I should be able to go home at 4pm today if there has been no change in my cervix. At that time I will also be getting a second steroid shot for the baby's lung development. So far, the plan for going home is moderate bed rest and a visit to see the OB every 2 days to make sure I'm not in labor. Since I will be going home with controlled contractions, some mild some strong, it will be difficult for me to tell whether I am truly in labor or not.
